Module 3 Objectives

This module helps individuals understand the ways in which they can act if they notice and identify something concerning. The module includes different scenarios and options for responding or not responding to things you may see, hear, or learn about from others. For each scenario, you will be walked through how to determine whether the situation is serious enough to warrant contacting law enforcement agencies or other authorities. We will also discuss what options exist when it is safe to intervene.  

By the end of Module 3, you will be able to:  

• Identify what to do if there is imminent danger or threat to safety. 
• Compare and summarize the options for action or inaction that exist based on different levels of concern and comfort in intervening. 
• Recall what kind of information to pass on when communicating concerns to third parties.
